Rosa Decker

The love of our life, Rosa M. Decker, unexpectedly left this earth for heaven on March 11, 2015. She was predeceased by her younger sister, Marcela Jarush; her parents, Vincenzo and Nellie (Melizza) D’Angelo. Rosa was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on August 10, 1958. She leaves behind her loving husband Tom of 36 years, two children, Joshua (Katie) and Alexander (Megan). The true loves of her life were her five grandchildren, Trenton, Baylee, Alexander, Owen and Grayson. She was eagerly awaiting the arrival of Alex and Megan’s fourth child. Rosa is survived by her Tia Fedra and cousins, Norma and Silvania Lanci. She is also survived by a very large extended family including many local cousins and, a sister, Adrianna (Mike) Rappa and their four children, additionally brother-in-law, George and nephew, Matthew Jarush. Rosa worked as a daycare provider while raising her two sons and then began a career in banking. She was currently working for the M&T Bank Branch, Johnson City.
Funeral Services Monday 10 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10:30 am. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Sunday from 2-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, any and all donations can be made to Thomas Decker for Rosa’s grandchildren’s future.
