Rose Marie Hickey

Rose Marie Hickey of Vestal, formally of East Northport, NY went to be with her Lord Wednesday, June 19, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Xavier Hickey and a daughter, Ellen Schildkamp. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Bernadette and Thomas Brown, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA and Regina and Richard Zur, Apalachin, NY; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Joseph and Mary Hickey, Wartrace, TN and Martin and Susan Hickey, Latrobe, PA; one son-in-law, John Schildkamp, Kensingston, MD; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Rose Marie was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and was a Registered Nurse at the V.A. Hospital in Northport, NY. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott followed by a Funeral Mass at at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal at 10 am. Burial will be in St. Philip Neri Cemetery, Northport, NY. The family wishes to thank the staff and friends at Castle Gardens where she spent many happy years.
