Rose Plutino

Rose M. (Witko) Plutino, 86, of Endwell went to be with the Lord peacefully Monday July 4, 2016. Rose was born in Jessup, PA to Agnes Sapak and Joe Witko. She is survived by her loving daughter Lisa; cherished granddaughter, Baleigh; sister Agnes (Joel) Whitehead as well as several nieces and nephews. Rose went to Antone’s Beauty School where she learned her lifelong trade as a hairdresser. She was co-owner of Joseph’s Hair Styling, was a teacher and then director of Triple Cities School of Beauty Culture until she retired in 1992. She was a founding member of Our Lady of Angels Church, Endwell, now Church of the Holy Family. Rose belonged to the Altar and Rosary Society and spent many hours in the church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and known for her delightful songs and catchy phrases.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 12 pm from Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at church Friday from 10 to 11:45 am.
