RoseMarie was born in Binghamton NY to Rose and Angelo DiVittorio. She married Gasper Palmeri, of Endicott NY, and moved to Vestal in the early 1960s. She spent the majority of her life in Vestal among a large family and many friends.
Her faith was the most important part of her life. She was a devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Vestal. She had considered becoming a nun as a young girl. Her greatest pleasure was in raising and caring for her family and seeing her extended family grow throughout her lifetime. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother always doing for her family and friends. She took great joy in the happiness of her family and friends.
RoseMarie was a great cook and baker with family meals that were the highlight of many large family gatherings over many years. She was also a lover of animals and took in countless stray dogs and cats and cared for them in the most loving manner.
She will be remembered as a simple family woman of faith living her life for others and never thinking of herself. She is survived by a large and loving family:
