Rosemary Mott

Rosemary C. (Cody) Mott, age 90, passed away at Binghamton General Hospital aturday, October 25, 2014. She was a lifetime resident of Binghamton and Vestal. She was predeceased by her husband John E. (Jack) Mott in 1976, and by her parents, M. Edward and Florence M. Cody. Rosemary is survived by a daughter, Suzanne M. (Nelson) Lewis of McAllen, TX; a daughter, Carolyn M. (Richard) Marra of West Chester, OH; and a son, John C. Mott (Robin) of Binghamton. She leaves behind four grandchildren, Colleen (John D.) Stites and Brian (Laura) Lewis of McAllen, TX, Justin W. (Katie) Marra of Cincinnati, OH, and James E. Mott of Vestal. There are also six great grandchildren, Bryant, Cody and Avery Stites, and Leslie, Matthew and Michael Lewis, all of McAllen, TX. Rosemary is also survived by her brother, Richard (Alice) Cody of Groton; a niece, Ann (Dana); nephews, Richard (Cheryl) and Michael (Shannon ); and great nephews, John and Nicholas Cody. Rosemary graduated from Central High School in 1942. She worked many years at Ansco in Binghamton, and retired from Amphenol (Cadre) in Endicott in 1987. Rosemary was a member of Mended Hearts #262 of Johnson City and the Round Hill #104 Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 12 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Reverend Daniel Eddings officiating. Burial will be convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the memorial home on Wednesday from 10 am until service time at 12 pm In lieu of flowers donations in Rosemary’s memory may be made to Mended Hearts 262 c/o Wilson Memorial Hospital.
