Rosemary Wierman of Endwell, passed away at Mercy House of the Southern Tier, Monday, January 26, 2022.
Rosemary was born in Ashland, KY on March 24, 1941 to Ted and Mary Greene. She later moved to Morehead, KY and graduated from Breckinridge High School in 1960 and attended Morehead St College. She moved to Syracuse, NY where she met and married Richard Wierman. Rosemary is survived by her husband and her sons, David and Ken; her sisters, Ruth Blair, Janie (Steve) Dunn; brother, Theo (Rosemary) Greene, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Glenna Boggs. She worked for Sugarman’s and retired from Bates Troy after many years of service. Rosemary was a Special Olympics coach and a volunteer with the Greek Peak Adaptive Ski Program. She was extremely proud of receiving the Special Olympics Family of the year award in 1998. She was a regular at the mall and leaves behind many acquaintances, including her good friend, Corolyn as well as Dottie, Joyce and Dorothy. She was always a Kentucky Women at heart.
The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Tuesday February 1st from 10 am until service time at 11 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Greek Peak Adaptive Ski Program.
