Russell Clark, Sr., 89, formerly of Endicott, passed away at the NYS Veterans Home, Oxford, NY, Wednesday, April 8, 2015. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth; sons Roger and Richard and a daughter Judy. He is survived by three daughters Dorothy (Carl) Gehres, Glen Aubrey; Diane (John) Caminiti and Linda (Rick) Mills, all of Endicott; a son Russell (Barbara) Clark, Vermont; son in law Kevin Gehres; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church, Endicott, a retired GAF employee and a veteran of W.W. II, recipient of two purple hearts serving in the US Army. Russell was also a member of the Round Hill Lodge #533 F&AM and Shriners, both of Endicott. The family would like to thank the staff of the NYS Veterans Home, especially the Hawthorn Cottage for their loving care and support shown Russell and his family during his stay there.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 7 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Tuesday from 5 pm until service time at 7 pm. The Round Hill Lodge #533 F&AM will conduct a Ritualistic Service Tuesday at 6:45 pm. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the NYS Veterans Home, 4207 NY-220, Oxford, NY 13830.
