Ruth Beebe

Ruth K. Beebe peacefully passed away in her daughter’s home on May 17, 2024, at the age of 99 years. She had tremendous faith in the Lord and was an example of how to live gracefully for her family and friends. She was a kind and loving Mom, Sister, Nana, Gram, and Grandma who will be dearly missed. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Leonard I. and Huldah C.
Cole, her husband Walter R. Beebe, and her sons Robert and Jack. She is survived by her daughter Diana (Daniel) Moore, her daughters-in-law Karen Beebe and Julie Beebe, and her sister Joyce Storie. Ruth loved her many grandchildren Robert
(Tammy) Beebe, Theresa (Allen) Blanton, Kalynn (Brad)
Johnson, Tami (David) Maines, Kathy Dooley, Patrick (Jennifer) DeNardo, Scott (Christine) Beebe, Matthew (Kara) Beebe, Rachel Beebe, Judy Seamon, and Nancy (Tom) Gray. She also had many cherished great-grandchildren in her life.
Ruth and her husband worked side by side during their 54-year marriage. They owned a farm during their early years together, followed by working together at National Cash Register, and selling real estate. Ruth later owned her own beauty shop for over 30 years before finally moving from New York to Florida. In Florida, Ruth and Walter worked together again, and retired from the Zephyrhills School District. After retiring, she volunteered for over 10 years for Habitat for Humanity. She enjoyed living in Florida where she made many friends. Ruth enjoyed music, dancing, reading, puzzles, and making delicious pies.
Ruth’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Lourdes Hospice, especially her nurse Hanna and her team for their wonderful, compassionate care during her last week of life.
To honor her wishes, there will be no services. Ruth will be laid to rest alongside her husband in Floral City, Florida.
