Sallie Costello

Sallie A (Buchner) Costello, age 86, passed away November 28, 2021 after a period of declining health. Sallie was predeceased by her parents Fred Buchner and Veronica (Horn) Buchner, her husband Jack and daughter Barbara. Sallie is survived by her sons Thomas, Gary, Scott and Brenda Costello as well as grandchildren Caitlin (Michael) DelVillano, Allison Costello (Angelo Carosella), Tim and Kristen Salai, and her great grandchildren Annabelle and Mark DelVillano, who were the apple of her eye. Sallie was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sallie had many hobbies including sewing, reading and shopping. Sallie kept people laughing because she could find humor in the most mundane circumstances.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family and Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Golisano Children’s Hospital in her memory.
