Sandy Mosso, 72, of Annapolis, Maryland passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2016. She lived, she laughed, and she loved so many. Sandy was predeceased by her fathers Steve Krupski and Mathew Valla and her mother-in-law Bessylea Mosso. She is survived by her loving husband Kirk Mosso; son Douglas Crockett; daughter Carrie (Dave) Machalek; grandchildren Cal and Ava Machalek; beloved mother Mary Valla; brother Steven (Pat) Krupski; sister Sharon (Roger) Hawkes; father-in law Stewart John Mosso Jr.; special Aunt Amelia Buran; former husband Doug Crockett; nieces Jennifer, Stacey, and Kelly; and many close friends and relatives. Sandy graduated from Vestal High School before selling real estate for 39 years, first in the Endicott area and later in Annapolis. In her retirement she worked at the hospital Clothes-Box and the Naval Academy gift shop. She enjoyed golfing, reading, gardening, cooking, traveling, photography, feeding the animals, evening board games with Kirk, and spending quality time with her grandchildren whom she loved wholeheartedly. She also adored her cats Emmie and Oscar. She was always there when you needed her and never missed traveling to Endicott for the kid’s birthdays with her special homemade sugar cookies. She was an energetic and caring person that loved to start a good conversation, especially with a stranger. She loved making new friends and was always the life of the party. She will be sorely missed by all of those that loved her.
The family will receive family and friends Saturday, June 4th at Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, NY from 2-4 pm. The family asks that donations be made to the ASPCA in lieu of flowers to honor Sandy’s great love of animals.
