Scott Armstrong

d. January 26, 2022

Scott Armstrong, 50, of Campville left this world in his way: quiet and with dignity, surrounded by his loving family, on January 26, 2022.
He leaves behind his wife and forever love, Saundra Armstrong and their children Sam and Natalia Nowetner. Scott was the loving son of Robin and Jake Armstrong and John (Cindy) Collins. He also leaves behind his brothers Brian (Alison) Armstrong . Bill (Katie) Collins, his sisters Jennifer Armstrong and Jennifer Collins, and sister-in-laws Ashley (Pat) Kennedy and Chardonnay (Zach) Reeb. His aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins held a special place in his heart.
Scott graduated from Blue Ridge High School; since that time, he lived in Allentown, the Bronx, and Poughkeepsie before moving to Campville. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Maguire Ford in Ithaca, NY as manager of their parts department. When not working, he could often be found on the golf course. He enjoyed shooting darts in multiple leagues, listening to his favorite tunes with Saundra, rooting for his Yankees, and enjoying the freedom of riding his Harley on the open road. His favorite pastime was spending time with his soulmate and family with a good cigar and a cold beer.
Scott will always be remembered for his selflessness. Whenever someone needed a hand, Scott was the first person in line to offer assistance. There was always a story when Scott, Brian, and Jake got together. His larger-than-life smile lit up every room he entered. His love for his family was the driving force behind everything he did. When remembering Scott, please think lyrics of a song from Scott’s favorite musical band, “Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.”
Visitation will be held Monday from 2 pm until service time at 4 pm at the Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott.
In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to the educational fund for his children, Sam and Natalia Nowetner, at Visions Federal Credit Union; 26 Day Hollow Road, Owego, NY 13827.
