Shirley Mae Snavely

Shirley Mae Snavely, 89, of Candor, NY; went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2024. Shirley was predeceased by her parents: Howard and Anna Reese, her four brothers; Harold, Lee, Carl, and Bud Reese, her daughter, Renee Keller, and son in law Mark Rogers. Shirley is survived by her husband, Kenneth Snavely, son and daughter in law, David and Penny Snavely of Kirkwood, son in law Richard Keller of Newark Valley, daughters Connie Rogers and Sherry Haun of Candor, as well as fifteen grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren. Shirley was an inspiration to all who knew her: her love, faith in her Savior, and her compassion for those in need. As a wife, she stood by Ken for over 70 years: as a mother, she instilled hard work and compassion in her children: as a grandmother, her unfailing love and encouragement lifted each grandchild and great grandchild up in prayer. She will be deeply missed.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
