Sophie Comfort

Sophie Kotasek Comfort, 95, of Maine, New York, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, Matthew and Katerina Kotasek; brothers John (Stella) and Louis (Barbara) Kotasek and sisters in law Loretta and Anna F. Kotasek. She is survived by her brothers Peter (Ann S.); Lawrence (Lillian); Karl and Thomas Kotasek; sisters Frances (Bo) Vlasak and Marie (Roy) Nersesian. She also leaves behind many nieces; nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews. Sophie was a member of The Most Holy Rosary Church, Maine. She will be remembered as a very loving and caring person, who always put others before herself. Special thanks to the nursing staff at Willow Point Nursing Home North 2, for their excellent care
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 1 pm at Most Holy Rosary Church, Route 26 North, Maine. The family will receive relatives and friends at church Friday from 12 pm until Mass time at 1 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Mercy House, 212 North McKinley Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760, Most Holy Rosary Church, P.O.
