Stanley “Stan” Perkosky Jr.

On Wednesday, December 15, 2021, Stanley J. Perkosky, Jr., passed away peacefully at Good Shepard Village. He was predeceased by his wife, Sandi, his parents Stanley and Anna Perkosky, and his sisters, Florence Wruck and Loretta Naylor. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, JoAnne and Rocky Martinez, grandchildren Jeff and Amanda Martinez, Traci and Jedd Burdick and great-grand puppy, Boone. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Nancy Carraro, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Stan proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was a retiree of IBM Endicott. Stan was a very loving and caring person with a great sense of humor. Family was very important to him and his grandchildren were the light of his life. He will be deeply missed, but will live on in our hearts forever.
A special thank you to the staff at Good Sheperd Village in independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing for their friendship, compassion and care over the years that Stan was a resident there.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Church of the Holy Family in Endwell, New York. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 am. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Stan‘s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or stjude.org/donate.
