Stanley C. Titcomb, age 86, of Endicott, NY, passed away on September 27, surrounded by family. He was preceded by his wife Virginia (Kistner) Titcomb of Endicott, NY; parents Oliver and Mildred (Carpenter) Titcomb of Larchmont, NY; daughter Virginia of Ithaca, NY. He is survived by his sons David Titcomb of Binghamton, NY; Paul Titcomb of Capitola, CA; Andrew Titcomb of Carlsbad, CA; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; extended family and many dear friends. Stanley had a successful career, working at IBM for 35 years after obtaining a master’s degree from Syracuse University and a doctorate from Purdue. He will be remembered as a true gentleman and devoted husband who enjoyed playing bridge with his wife and traveling the world. He was a dedicated father teaching his children how to fish, sail, golf and camp.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 12 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Pastor Mark Kimpland of Endwell United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Monday from 11 until service time at 12 pm.
