Stanley “Stashu” Wintergrass

Stanley J. “Stashu” Wintergrass, 95, of Endicott, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2022. He was predeceased by his wife Madeline, son Tommy, and brother Joseph. Survived by daughter Cel (Jim) Howe, son John (Elaine) Wintergrass, grandchildren Justin and Jessica Wintergrass. Also survived by his brother Matt (Joan), sister-in-law Arleen. Nieces and nephews David (Andrea), Cindy (Chip), Karen (Ryan), Amy (JP), Cindy (Alan), Denny, dear friends Terri and Jill. He was a devout Catholic and family man. He was a member of the OLGC church, he served in WWII, 75 year member of the American Legion. He had a career in wholesale for both Almy Bros. and Benner Wholesale. Stanley was a meticulous person, who needed everything straight and square. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 West Main Street, Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
