Stanley Yarrington

Stanley D. Yarrington, 91, of Greene, died at the NYS Veterans’ Home, Oxford, NY, Friday, January 17, 2014. He was predeceased by his wife Eunice in 2008 and a daughter Linda. He is survived by a son and daughter in law Thomas and Cindi Yarrington, Endicott; his grandchildren Kathryn and Wallace Stafford; Brian and Sandra Yarrington and Steven Yarrington, five great grandchildren. He was a veteran of W.W. II, where he received the Purple Heart. Some of his enjoyments in life were fishing, gardening and woodworking.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 6 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Deacon Thomas Harley of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Endicott officiating. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover, NJ, Wednesday at 12 pm. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Tuesday from 4 pm until service time at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to NYS Veterans Home, Oxford, NY 13830.
