Stefanina “Ninetta” Paniccia, 80, of Endicott, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015. She was born on December 26, 1934 in the town of Torrice (Frosinone), Italy and immigrated to the US in 1970. Stefanina was predeceased by her loving husband Umberto and adoring daughter Rossana Balchikonis. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her daughter and son in law Ornella and David Harvey; grandchildren Adrianna and Nicholas Harvey; Jessica (Ryan) Eisenhart; Jeremy (Jen) Balchikonis and Jacob Balchikonis; great grandchildren Jordan; Rossana Jayleen and Everly; sister Vincenza Bragaglia, Canada; brother in law and sister in law Alfred and Mamie Paniccia; sister in law and brother in law Pasqualina and Sebastiano Bracaglia; all of Endicott; also several nieces; nephews; cousins and dear friends in the US, Canada and Italy. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott, the Independent Mutual Aid Society and a former Endicott-Johnson Corp. employee. Ninetta will always be remembered for her passion of cooking and her love of sharing it with everyone, also for her famous ciamells. The family would like to thank Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital ICU staff for all their care and concern shown Ninetta during her stay there.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 10 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 306 Odell Avenue, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Wednesday from 4-7 pm. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
