Stella Sousouris

Stella Sousouris , 88, formerly of Binghamton, died peacefully on December 21, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Stella was predeceased by her husband of over 60 years, Peter, and sons Anestis and Nicholas. She is survived by her daughter Paulixeny Pratt, son Thomas, daughter Electra (Chris) Cummings, and daughter Dena (Richard) Chapman, and numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Stella was the matriarch of a large Greek family and enjoyed hosting many years of happy holiday meals for so many family and friends. Stella loved to travel. She loved to dance and sing. She enjoyed bingo and the pulling of an occasional slot machine. Stella was active in the Greek Orthodox Church in both Binghamton and Vestal. She was loved by all who knew her and will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity and thoughtfulness.
The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, Friday, December 27 from 4-6 pm. Funeral Services will be held 10 am Saturday, December 28 at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 4121 Ohara Drive, Vestal. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott.
