Stephen “Tibby” Brinsko, 87, of Endwell, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Patricia (Beatty) Brinsko; two daughters Diane (Paul) Iannon and Gail (Lee) Springer; three sons David (Bernadette) Brinsko; Richard (Jeanette) Brinsko and Daniel (Lara) Brinsko; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was a member of Church of the Holy Family, Endwell and a veteran of W.W. II, serving in the Pacific Theater. Tibby Brinsko was a softball pitching legend until the age of 55 and will now be pitching for the angels in heaven. He loved bowling and fishing with his family, watching his children and grandchildren play sports and was an avid New York Yankee fan. Special thank you to his extended family at Susquehanna Nursing Center.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 12 pm at Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at church Wednesday from 10 am until Mass time at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to A.V.R.E. (Association for Vision Rehab), 174 Court Street, Binghamton, NY 13901.
