Stephen “Steve” Curtin

Stephen M. Curtin of Vestal, New York, 66, passed away at home unexpectedly on May 7, 2024.
Steve was pre-deceased by his father Paul M. Curtin
Steve is survived by his wife Alesia Curtin, mother Joan T. Curtin, son Brady M. Curtin, stepchildren Anthony, Kellen (Bear), Jaleesa, Kaliesha (Cookie), and Marshall, step-grandchildren Bella, Karter, Slade, Wooskie and Kai, siblings Mandy (Dave) Lefcheck, Robert (Shelley) Curtin and Donna (D-Train) Reitz , nephews and niece Brian (Kelly) Lefcheck, Brent Lefcheck (Godson), Thomas Curtin, Katherine Morelli (Mike) and Matthew Reitz followed by cousins, aunts, uncles and many special friends.
In lieu of Flowers: Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to: St. Jude - Children’s Research Hospital.
Steve was a devoted family man, with a caring and generous manner. Steve would often light up as he reminisced about his childhood family camping trips. Sharing similar moments with his son Brady was one of his greatest pleasures. He enjoyed time relaxing with his wife in his yard by the fire and listening to his favorite artists, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Santana and Beth Hart. Introduced to sports by his father, he loved watching his local teams. The New York Giants and the New York Yankees were ever pleasant passions along with Syracuse Basketball. For over 30 years, Steve was a dedicated employee in the automobile industry performing a job he loved. Always saying he worked with some of the best people in the industry who gave him the nickname “Captain Credit.”
Steve will be remembered for his huge generous heart, his keen mind, his sharp wit and his unwavering commitment to family.
Steve – We love you so very much and will miss you more than words can say. Until we meet again.
Funeral Services for Steve will be held Wednesday at 5 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. The family will receive friends from 3 pm until Service time at 5 pm.
