Stephen Lisak Sr., 80 of Endicott was called to Heaven on August 8, 2017. Stephen is survived by his wife Georgianna and son Stephen Jr. as well as nephews and his daily coffee buddy’s from McDonald’s. Stephen was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retired employee of the Village of Endicott Public Works Department, a graduate of Union Endicott High School class of 1955, a member of the VFW post 1700 in Endicott and was also appointed Trustee for the Village of Endicott by Mayor John R. Bertoni to complete an unfinished term. Stephen was born at his home on Rogers Avenue and lived there for 80 years until his passing, a fact he was very proud of. Stephen enjoyed his trips to Tioga Downs with his son Stephen, Jr. and spending time with special friends on his front porch. He was very proud of his Slavik roots, and his dedication to the Village of Endicott. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends for his love, humor and kindness.
Service will be held Monday 2 pm at the Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street Endicott. Burial will be in Slovak Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the memorial home on Monday from 1 pm until service time at 2 pm.
