Sue Brooks

Sue (Lucia) Brooks, 79 of Endicott, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents Vincenzo and Maria Lucia; grandson Ian Schanz; brothers Frank, Ralph and George Lucia and sisters Lena Fiacco and Emily Metzker. She is survived by her husband Philip; her sister Vinnie Brown, brother Bill (Linda) Lucia, daughters Elizabeth Brown and Kristina (Hal) Drost; sons James (Jean) Schanz and Steve Brooks; her grandchildren Jessica and Jacob Brooks; Kimberly (Robert) White; Brittni (Zach) Dion; Cassandra Bennett; Rebecca; Philip Steele; Chelsea and John Brown and Ari and Paolo Schanz; seven great grandchildren;. She was a faithful member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott. She loved animals of all kinds. She was a hairstylist and had many political causes. Her favorite golfing vacation spots were Myrtle Beach, SC and Tarpon Springs, Fla. We wish to thank Willow Point Nursing Home for the care she received in her time of need.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 11:30 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 306 Odell Avenue, Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at church Friday from 10 am until Mass time at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the ASPCA would be Sue’s request.
