On the evening of January 6, 2014, God decided it was time for our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Suzan Eiche, to come home to rest in everlasting peace, with Jesus Christ, Suzan’s Lord and Savior. Suzan was born in Lakeside, MI on January 25, 1931, and married her high school sweetheart, Phillip Eiche, to whom she was married for 63 years, and survives her. Suzan was an amazing mom to five children; Phillip (Margaret), Curt (Brooke), Suzan (William), James (Karen) and Eric (Deborah). She was Grandma to Jessica (Kevin), Allyson (Julian), Andrew, Kevin (Amanda), Thomas, Alec, Joel, Bethany, Megan, Amy and Erica. All 11 grandchildren have personal memories of their special times with Grandma. Mom is also survived by brothers Jack and David. She is predeceased by her parents Viola and Clyde Covert and siblings Gerry, Tart, Hop, Jimmy and Joan. Mom loved babies and dogs, particularly Cocker Spaniels. She was a gifted artist and passed on that talent to her daughter and grandchildren. Mom’s passion for tole painting and ceramics has left us beautiful pieces to remind us of her. Mom enjoyed many years with her Bridge and Tole Painting Clubs and also found the time to sew lovely dresses for the girls. Christmas was Mom’s favorite holiday and she transformed her house into a Christmas wonderland. Mom and Dad were able to enjoy many winter months at their home in Englewood, FL. She touched many lives and for that we are forever grateful. Mom, you are irreplaceable and loved so dearly.
