Teresa Marie Dailey, born on May 4, 1940, on the North Side of Endicott, NY, and later residing in Brackney, PA and Daytona Beach Shores, FL, peacefully departed from her earthly home to her heavenly one on July 4, 2024. Her loving husband of 64 years, Edward Dailey, was by her side. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Anna Lockett, and her beloved son, Michael Dailey. She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Edward M. Dailey, her son Dr. Edward Dailey (Nancy), her daughter Bethanne (Dr. Scott) Berman, her grandchildren Drew Berman, Eddie Dailey, Alyssa Dailey, Jonathan Dailey, Jaden Berman, Natalie Dailey and her great-grandchildren Giovanni and Luca Peterson. Teresa is also survived by her loving sister Angela (Tim) Cihiwsky, and brother, Michael Lucchetti, as well as her lifelong best friends, Lori Isabella and Roberta Colonna. She is also remembered fondly by many special nieces, nephews, and cousins. Teresa lived a vibrant life. In her youth, she enjoyed cheerleading, lifeguarding, and dancing, earning her the nickname “Rocket Lockett.” She graduated from Union Endicott High School and attended Broome Community College before embarking on a successful career as the Office Manager for Doctors Kaplan and DiBella. Later, she contributed to IBM Medical, progressing to become a Computer Translation Specialist. After retiring from IBM, Teresa pursued her interest in aesthetics by founding her own business, Face First. A lifelong parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, she dedicated time to volunteering for causes she held dear. Teresa’s retirement years were rich with family moments. Her greatest joy came from being a grandmother, or Noni, as she was affectionately called. Her enthusiastic support for her grandchildren became legendary, and has left a legacy of laughter and love that will endure. Teresa enjoyed entertaining, cooking, painting, quilting, and sharing her culinary creations with loved ones. She loved dancing through life with her husband, embracing every adventure. Teresa was a pillar of strength and joy to all who knew her. Her indomitable sprit and zest for life will be cherished forever.

A Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 am, Friday, August 30th at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 300 Odell Avenue, Endicott. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at church, Friday, August 30th from 9:30 am until Mass time at 11 am.

In honor of Teresa’s love for family and generosity, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Mercy House of the Southern Tier , 212 North McKinley Avenue, Endicott, NY 13750, or to a local food pantry.
