Thaddeus “Thad” Harford

Thaddeus (Thad) Lee Harford, 71, of Port Crane, was unexpectedly called to enter into eternity to be with his Lord and Savior March 9, 2018. Thad was predeceased by his parents, Thaddeus and Royice; brothers, Charles, David, Ronald and Kevin. Surviving are his wife Melody; sons Kristopher and Nicholas (April); sisters Royiceann Harford and Joyce Twombly; his precious grandchildren who were the lights of his life, Alexia, Jacob and Owen Harford; many nieces and nephews; Melody’s loving family; countless close friends of his NYSEG family; best friend, Gary Madden and all of the Madden family. Thad was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Army for 4 years. He enjoyed his many years of Lineman work at NYSEG, his part time retirement work at Just-In-Time Auto where he met and made many friends over the last 8 years, his many years of attending NASCAR events and his great dog Annie.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with Pastor Charles Kark of the Park Terrace Baptist Church, Binghamton, officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Center Lisle Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home on Sunday from 11 am until service time at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the Park Terrace Baptist Church, 248 Park Avenue, Binghamton, NY 13903.
