Theron “Doye” Mckitrick

Theron D. (Doyle) McKitrick, 84, of Maine, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 4, 1930 in Finley, OH. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Janice, who passed away in March, 2014; his parents, Herman and Hazel McKitrick; a son, Dennis McKitrick; a grandson, Seth McKitrick; and several brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He is survived by a son and daughter in law, Darwin and Robin McKitrick, Maine; four grandchildren, Jesse (Maggie) Minarovich, Melanie McKitrick, Stephen and Nikki Sabol; four great-grandchildren, Christopher Underwood, who Janice and Doyle raised as a son, Victoria Cluff, Trever and Blake Minarovich; and Mary Minarovich, mother of grandson, Jesse. He is also survived by two sisters, Margaret (Effie) Garren and Geraldine Rackett; a sister-in-law, Sandra White; several nieces and nephews; and a life-long friend, Don Clark. Doyle was a Union Brick Layer, retiring after 45 years of service. He loved to hunt and was a member of the Southern Tier Antique Gas and Steam Engine Association. He was a good father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
Funeral and Interment Services will be held Monday from the 1 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicot, with Pastor Ben Winn officiating. Burial will be in Maine Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
