Thomas “Tom” Giles

Thomas Michael Giles,62, of Friendsville, PA, passed away on November 30th, 2023 to be reunited with his parents Norman and Lucille Giles, and brother in-law Matthew Hillis who predeceased him. Tom is survived by his wife of Susan Giles, his beloved sons Joshua and Nathan Giles; his siblings Steven Giles, Diane (Donald) Paukett, and Nancy (Jeffery) Mack; his in-laws Lawrence Sr. and Ruth Hillis, Lawrence Jr. and Dana Hillis; his nieces and nephews; Lawrence 3rd (Katie) Hillis, Ian (Christina) Giles, Richard (Amy Link) Hillis, Rachel Paukett, Michelle Paukett, Zachery Rohauer, Dylan Rohauer, Connor Hillis and several great nieces and nephews. Tom stood by and truly loved his wife Sue for 40 years till the day he passed, always saying” I love you lots”. Toms greatest accomplishment was being a father. He loved his boys with all his heart, spending time with his sons hunting, fishing, and practicing sports. Tom passed down his handyman knowledge to his boys. He loved his family, in- laws, and friends genuinely. Tom never had a bad word to say about anybody. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and had a strong work ethic. He was known for giving out witty nicknames and for his humor. Tom was well liked by all his co-worker at SUNY Binghamton where he retired. Tom will be sadly missed by all. We love you Tom!
Funeral Services will be held 4 pm, Saturday, December 16th at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Saturday the 16th from 2 pm until service time at 4 pm.
Donations may be made in memory of Tom to the Lymphoma Research Foundation or American Heart Association.
