Thomas Francis Reynolds, 93 years old of Endicott, NY, died on December 29, 2024. We are forever grateful for the loving care he received towards the end of his life at Elizabeth Church Manor. Tom was born in Scranton, PA in 1931 to Theresa (McDonnell) Reynolds and Thomas Reynolds. He attended Binghamton Central High School and then went on to serve in the Korean War. Upon his return he attended Harpur College (SUNY), where he earned his Bachelors of Science in 1956 followed by a 30+ year career at IBM. Tom met the love of his life, Vivian, while working at IBM. Tom will be remembered for his love of family, friends and his community. He was a man of few words but always found a way to make us laugh with his dry sense of humor. As an avid Red Sox fan, he enjoyed spending time watching the Yankees lose. His love for the Green Bay Packers and Notre Dame Football were equally matched. We couldn’t have asked for a better father, brother, grandfather, or great grandfather, and he will be missed every day. His crooked smile and magic card trick always made us smile. His legacy lives on with these countless memories. Tom was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Vivian (Cattarulla) Reynolds (90). Together they built a beautiful family. He is survived by their children Thomas Reynolds (Marcia), Mark Reynolds (Iveth), as well as grandchildren Stephanie Reynolds, Priscilla Reynolds, Alex Reynolds, and Mark Reynolds, Jr. (Morgan), and great granddaughters Lizzy Reardon and Nora Reynolds. Tom is also survived by his brother-in-law Elliot Cattarulla (Kay) of Dallas, Texas. Tom’s viewing will be held on Saturday January 4, 2024 at 9:30 am in St. Joseph’s Church, located at 207 Hayes Avenue, Endicott, NY, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity would be greatly appreciated.
