Thymen Vanoostendorp

Thymen VanOostendorp, 74, passed away at Wilson Memorial Hospital on Friday, May 25, 2018 after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, AnnMarie VanOostendorp; son, Derek VanOostendorp and daughter, Kathy Langevin (fiancé Joe Smith) all of Vestal. He is also survived by his sister, Anke Fenstra and brother, Herre VanOostendorp both of the Netherlands; brother-in-law, Louis DiFulvio, Endicott. Thymen will be missed by six very special nephews, extended family, and close friends. The family extends a special thank you to the ICU staff, especially Dr. Mohammad May for their kindness, excellent care and support to Thymen and his family. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday at 1 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend Father Corey van Kuren officiating. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Wednesday, from 11 am until service time at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Catholic Charities, 232 Main Street, Binghamton, NY 13905.
