Tina Mandarino Morreall, “Yobo”, “Warrior Queen”, 49, of Binghamton, our beautiful and precious warrior woman, wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend passed away August 20, 2015 into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father after a courageous 2-year fight with glioblastoma brain cancer. Tina was a true example of Christ-like qualities. A devoted and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she served as a missionary in Seoul, South Korea from 1989 to 1991. She met and married her eternal soulmate, Edmond Morreall, and together had three beautiful, smart, and funny children who make them very proud: Misa (21), Trevor (19) and Asia (17). Tina was a loving, caring and selfless superwoman. She loved teaching her children, traveling with her family, cooking, reading, writing (poetry) and helping others. She loved to laugh, go to movies, and spend time with friends. But her family was always her priority. She loved her job as a legal assistant at Gitto and Niefer where she made wonderful, supportive friends who became the founders of Team Tina. Tina was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of loving parents Fred and Marilyn (Carlston) Mandarino. Surviving are her husband, children, mother, and sisters and brothers: Cheryl, Jan, Steve and Paul Mandarino, mother-in-law Geraldine Morreall, sisters- and brothers-in-law: Debbie Nelson, Jen Morreall, Barb (Kevin) Rowell, Sherrie (Bruce) Gavin, Scott (Lori) Morreall, and Rob Morreall, many loving nieces and nephews and special friend Lisa Bobby.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 12:30 pm from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Murray Hill Road, Vestal. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday at Church from 11 am until service time at 12:30 pm.
