Vincent Samiani

Vincent Samiani, 85, of Endwell, died at his residence Saturday, May 2, 2009. He was predeceased by his parents Antonino and Marianna; five brothers; two sisters and a son in law Jeff Markese. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Rose; two daughters Marianna Samiani, Endicott and Josephine Markese, Burbank, CA; two sons and a daughter in law Remo and Nino and Ingrid Samiani, all of Endwell; his grandchildren Regina and Steve; Natalia and John; Michael; Nicholas; Nisa; Rachel; Liza and Desirae; a sister Lisa Cimellaro, Italy; also several nieces; nephews and cousins. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott, a retired Endicott-Johnson Corp. employee and was a veteran of W.W. II, serving in the Italian State Police. Vince owned and operated Vince’s Groceries on the north side of Endicott, for many years and was a member of the Independent Mutual Aid Club.Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10 am. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Tuesday from 4-7 pm, with the Independent Mutual Aid Club meeting at 6:45 pm.
