Virginia M. Zimmer, 81, of Vestal, Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, July 9, 2013. She is pre deceased by her parents, Vina and Burdette Cole; grandparents, Daisy and Shad Horton; Stephen and Rose Whitmore; Lucy and Kenneth Small; George Shafer and an infant daughter. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Allan; children, David (Jody) of Brackney, Dale (Robin) of Apalachin, Lisa (Ernest) Turdo of Johnson City and Kevin (Maggie) of Apalachin; grandchildren, Casey (Jim), Danielle, Samantha, Sarah, Joseph, Michael, Nicholas and Allison; sister, Norma Shafer (Edward); brother, Donald (Ann) Cole; Special cousins, Carol (Bob) Arnold; as well as several special nieces and nephews. Virginia was a member of the Vestal Center United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Vestal Park at Willow Point for their care and compassion of Virginia. Family Services will be heldSaturdayfrom the Allen Memorial Home,511-513East Main Street, Endicott, with Reverend Jeffrey Aiosa from Vestal Center United Methodist Church, officiating.
