Walter E. Hagen, 87, of Vestal, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Mary Lou Hagen, Vestal; one daughter, Barbara Hagen, Endicott; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Abbie Pank, Portland, Oregon, Michael and Maureen Hagen, The Villages, Florida and David and Christine Hagen, Dunnellon, Florida; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Walt was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal. He was a retired I.B.M. Corporation employee retiring after 40 years of service and a Veteran of W.W. II, serving in the US Navy. He was a “Jack of all trades” and could fix anything. Walt was the patriarch of the family. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 12:30 pm from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church at 1 pm. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Monday from 5-7 pm.
