Wilhelmina (Billie) K. Palmer, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family May 1, 2015 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, Maryland. A longtime resident of Endwell, Billie and husband Howie have been lovingly cared for in recent years by daughter Betsy and family in Westminster. Billie was a pianist, artist, quilter and fabulous cook. She passionately loved and was loved by her family, friends and care-givers. Billie was a member of Trinity Memorial Church for over 70 years where she and Howie were active since their marriage there in 1956. She is survived by her husband Howard R. Palmer; children Becky (Yogi) Anderson, David (Amy) Palmer, Betsy (Mike) Kremer, Steven Palmer and Chris (Lisa) Palmer; grandchildren Rachel, Luke and Maria Anderson, Teddy, Annie and Patrick Palmer, Misha and Arie Kremer, Sammy, Dani and Brady Palmer; sister and brother-in-law Margaret (Toppie) and David Bates, nephew Matthew and niece Heidi.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 11 am at Trinity Memorial Church, 44 Main Street, Binghamton, with Reverend David Drebert officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott Monday from 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Billie’s memory may be made to the Dove House 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157 or Trinity Memorial Church, Binghamton, NY 13905.
