William “Billy” Dwyer Jr.

William J. Dwyer, Jr. (lovingly referred to as “Dooley,” “Billy,” or “Bill”), 63, of Endicott, NY, passed peacefully alongside his wife Carolyn and son William on January 21st, 2023.
He was predeceased by his parents William and Irene Dwyer. He is survived by his loving and adoring wife, Carolyn, daughter Jessica Fletcher (her husband Josh Fletcher), son William J. Dwyer III (his fiancée Danielle Sanchez), step daughter Jennifer Gallagher, grandchildren Daniel and Jasmine, brothers James Dwyer (his wife Connie Dwyer) and Daniel Dwyer (his wife Peggy Dwyer), sister Denise Maloney, and several nieces and nephews with whom he had extraordinary relationships: Mark, Brian (his fiancée Peri), Nick, Shannon (her husband Brandon), Nikolette, Christina (her partner Joey), Geoff (his wife Chelsea), and Kelly (her wife Trang).
He owned Dwyer Building Inc. for many years and served as president of the Home Builders Association. Through these efforts, he left a legacy of beautiful homes in the community. He was involved with “Christmas in April” and was always looking to perform random acts of kindness for strangers. The courage displayed as he fought his battle with cancer will forever be an inspiration to his family. He was decent, honorable, and honest. He had an abundance of love for his family and was loved insurmountably by everyone in return.
Services will be held Thursday 12:30 pm at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Thursday from 10 am until service time at 12:30 pm.In lieu of flowers, he would like you to consider a random act of kindness for a stranger.
