William “Bill” Holdsworth

William (Bill) C. Holdsworth, 64, of Apalachin, NY passed away on April 7, 2024, at Binghamton General Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
He was predeceased by his parents, William J. and Norma J. (Clark) Holdsworth, his sister Elizabeth McKinley and his niece Lauren Miller.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marcia L. (Marcy) (Williams) Holdsworth; his son Clark T. Holdsworth and his partner Khanh Nguyen; his son Neil W. Holdsworth; his sister and brother-in-law Marsha and Michael Miller; his brother-in-law David McKinley; his niece and her husband Lindsey and Christopher Ciesla and their children Lauren, Ireland and Logan; as well as extended family and friends.
Bill was retired from Lesko Financial Services.
Bill was a loving, affectionate, devoted husband and father. Family was the most important thing to him. His greatest pleasure was watching his sons become men and “setting them up” with his direction. He also enjoyed the simple pleasures; eating out, watching his sons when they were in sports, horse racing, day trips, and working around the home and yard. He was quiet and private but with a great sense of humor to those who knew him well. There was always a lot of kidding and joking around in our home and he will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am Friday, April 12 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 801 Main Street, Vestal. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at church Friday, April 12 from 9:30 am until Mass time at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wilmot Cancer Center of Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, the Binghamton General Palliative Care Unit or a cause of your choice.
