William “Bill” Naylor

William R. Naylor, 80, of Vestal, died at Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. He was predeceased by his parents William and Marion Naylor, two brothers Brad and Jack Naylor, sister Diane Neeley, sister-in-law Fran Naylor and brother-in-law Arvine Cady. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Gloria Naylor, Vestal; two sons and daughters-in-law Bill and Nicole Naylor, Endwell, Daniel and Colleen Naylor, Vestal; three grandchildren Alexandra, William and Craig; sister Peg Cady, Vestal; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal where he was an usher for over 40 years. He was a retired Endicott-Johnson Corporation employee retiring after 45 years of service. He was active in the Endicott Boys Club and Vestal Babe Ruth Baseball League. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved basketball.

Funeral services will be held Monday 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 am from Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Sunday from 2-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Bill’s memory may be made to Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Residents Council, 105 West Sheedy Road, Vestal, NY 13850.
