William “Denny” Westover

It is with great sadness that our beloved husband, father & grandfather, William (Denny) Westover, 75 of Apalachin, NY passed away February 21, 2022. He was predeceased by his father William Westover, mother Lorraine Campbell, & sister Bonnie Llewellyn. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Shirley, son Michael (Sarita) Westover, daughter Tracy (Brant) Signs, grandchildren Korey (Kevin) Westover, Hailey Westover, Kailey Signs, & Teagan Signs, his brother Bob (Gail) Westover, and several nieces, nephew sand cousins. He was a wonderful husband and father. His grandkids were his pride and joy and every moment spent with them was special. Everyone who ever met Denny loved him. He had a special way of making people smile with his jokes. He was an Army Veteran which he was proud of. He was an amazing cook who always made a meal into a feast. One of his favorite past times was watching birds and he loved to build birdhouses. He worked at Endicott Forging for 33 years and later at National Pipe and Empire Plastics.
There will be no services at this time. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. A special thanks to Palliative Care and the caring nurses & aids in the Covid unit of Lourdes hospital. He can now fly with the angels free from his back pain he suffered with for several years.
