Harry Mattimore, 90, of Vestal, passed peacefully in the arms of the Lord Tuesday December 23, 2014. He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen (Mott), sisters Mary Sheehan, Jane Mattimore, Sally Deacon, a brother Jack Mattimore, and a granddaughter, Laura Mattimore. He is survived by his children, Maryanne Donnelly, Joseph (Rhonda) Mattimore, Jane Hashey, John (Maureen) Mattimore, Nancy (William) Fuller, Eileen (Mark) Mushalla, Thomas (Angel) Mattimore, Teresa (Carl) Snedaker, twenty two grandchildren, Donald Jr. (Robin), Joseph (Melanie), David (Kerri) and Patrick Hashey, John Jr. (Leslie), Caitlin and Daniel Mattimore, Amy Snedaker, Sarah and Joshua Fuller, Matthew (Jessica), Andrew (Nicole), Christopher, Alexander, Alyssa, Nicholas, Elijah, Julianna and Emmanuel Mushalla, Mark, Julia and Teesha Snedaker; seven great grandchildren; a sister Kathleen Hirsch, one sister in law, Connie Mott, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was an active member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal. He was a retired IBM Corp employee and a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was a veteran of W.W. II serving in the United States Marine Corp. Harry loved his family, golfing, and going to Cape Cod.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, 9:30 am from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Sunday from 2-5 pm. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Meals on Wheels of Western Broome 705 West Main Street Endicott, NY 13760.
