Marie Bevelacqua

Marie P. Bevelacqua, 58, of Endicott, NY went to rest in the arms of our Heavenly Father Sunday, February 7, 2016. Marie was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish. Marie was predeceased by her grandparents Rose and Joseph Bevelacqua and Lee and Pauline Freace and her brother Edward Bevelacqua. Marie is the daughter of Joseph and JoAnn Bevelacqua; sister of Karen (Tim) Babicek, Dominick (Tracie) Bevelacqua; the mother to Nicole (Michael) Uhrinec; grandmother to Ayden and Luca Uhrinec; and the aunt to Crystal (Dan) Appel, Erin and Joshua (Cierra) Babicek, Joseph and Christian Bevelacqua. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and friends. The families she has touched have been forever changed by her love and life. Marie enjoyed watching movies, chatting with friends, and being with her family. But it was Marie’s infectious smile, laughter, and sense of humor that would light up a room. A special thank you to her friends, Adele Dray and Arlene Johnston who visited her often. We would also like to thank the staff at Vestal Rehab and Nursing Home who took special care of her throughout her illness.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 10:30 am from Our Lady of Good Counsel Church 701 West Main Street, Endicott. The family will receive friends at church Thursday from 9:30 am, until Mass time at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Food Pantry or Soup Kitchen of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
